At Global Education Platform (GEP), we believe in the transformative power of education. We go beyond providing access to knowledge and focus on fostering capacity building within communities, empowering individuals to achieve self-sufficiency and unlock their full potential.
In collaboration with Live Love and Give, a non-profit organization dedicated to community development, GEP launched a special CSR initiative in Padaviya, Sri Lanka, in 2023. Our focus for the initiative were as follows:
We worked with Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Padaviya to identify young individuals with exceptional talent in dance, art, and singing from underprivileged backgrounds.
Through scholarships, we provided the identified students with one year of personalized private tutoring sessions to hone their skills and nurture their artistic expression.
Our aim is to equip these young talents with the necessary skills and confidence to pursue their artistic passions professionally, contributing to their personal growth and potentially becoming economic contributors to their communities.
This initiative brought joy and hope to the young participants, offering them a brighter future through their artistic talents. It provided them with a platform to develop their skills, build self-esteem, and unlock opportunities for personal and professional advancement. Ultimately, this program contributes to the long-term sustainability of the Padaviya community by empowering its youth.

Debating & Public Speaking: For those who are persuasive and comfortable expressing your ideas.Drama: For those who have theatrical talent and story telling skills Just like our past programmes, talented students identified in these new categories will receive scholarships for personalized tutoring sessions to refine their skills.
This December, GEP will also be hosting aChristmas Carnival in Padaviya. The carnival will be filled with fun activities, games, and gifts for everyone. It will also be a special opportunity for the 2023 and 2024 scholarship recipients to showcase their talents in a heartwarming performance.
